Morris Lubricants targets growth in the global gas engine market

One of the country’s leading oil blenders is aiming to increase its market share in the rapidly emerging global gas engine market by showcasing its range of lubricants at a leading European exhibition.

Shrewsbury-based Morris Lubricants will be exhibiting on stand F207 in Hall 3 at UK AD & Biogas 2016, which is being held at the NEC Birmingham from July 6-7.

The company is returning to event after a successful debut last year when several major supply deals were secured. Morris Lubricants recorded similar sales success at Biogaz Europe in Nantes in January and will be attending Energy Decentral, a four-day event in Hannover, Germany from November 15-18.

Representatives from the firm’s technical, marketing and sales teams will be on hand to promote its GEO brand, a range of sophisticated oils capable of operating with different fuel type engines in the production of renewable energy, such as natural gas, biogas, syngas and landfill gas.

The company’s range of gas engine oils has been specifically formulated to offer enhanced corrosion protection, oxidative and nitration stability, wide operating temperature range, low deposit forming performance together with a robust acid neutralisation system with protracted field proven drain times.

The GEO range has undergone extensive testing and analysis by technicians at the company’s own laboratory, as well as being field-tested and approved by many of the world’s leading gas engine manufacturers.

From local authorities to industry, modern gas engines are used in a wide variety of power generation applications where reliability and continuous operation are paramount.

Representing the company at UK AD & Biogas 2016 will be technical services manager Simon Matthews, sales consultant Ian Fryer and marketing executive Andrew Simms. They look forward to meeting new and existing customers to discuss their lubricants requirements.

“The growth that we’ve experienced internationally over the past year has been particularly robust and we are definitely gaining traction in the sector,” explained Craig Bastable, Morris Lubricants’ marketing manager. “By exhibiting at UK AD & Biogas, we aim to further develop our market share within an industry that is experiencing exceptional growth due to demand within the renewable sector.

“Our team will be available to provide customers with technical advice, guidance on gas engine lubricants and details of our support package, which includes an analysis service, bulk delivery service and on-site visits.”
