Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Cleaner
DPF Cleaner is a multifunctional diesel fuel additive formulated to help maintain and clean the Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) that are fitted as aftertreatment devices in exhaust systems. The DPF captures and stores soot particles from the exhaust to reduce emissions. Over time, this soot builds up and needs to be burned off in a process called regeneration. DPF Cleaner lowers the combustion temperature of soot making regeneration easier and more frequent. This is advantageous when normal operation involves a lot of stop/starts, particularly where the vehicle is used primarily in urban locations for short trips. This product, when added to fuel will help the soot to burn off at lower temperatures.
DPF Cleaner also improves fuel combustion resulting in less soot being produced in the first place. This in turn reduces soot landing in the DPF. A more efficient combustion process also keeps injectors and the combustion chamber clean, improving efficiency and power.
