Wacker Neuson wanted to launch a branded Lubricant program nationally. Primarily to their dealer Network. After speaking to several Lubricant providers they felt that Morris could see the potential of their program.

“Many of the local farmers had history with Morris Lubricants and do not have a bad word to say about any of the products, so when one of the farmers put me in touch with their local Area Manager we got to talking and soon became good friends. We began a twenty-year journey which is still strong to this day. It was great to deal with a British company with a great heritage, especially as we'd just had a bad experience with other European brands before them. I'd rather sell a product on its merits than get involved in a bidding war and as people recognise the Morris brand, the battle was won.

In twenty years, I can't ever remember having had an issue with the product or any reason to question the quality of the product, but some customers still don't realise that oil is cheap in the scheme of things, especially if using an inferior product results in engine or transmission failure. In truth I wouldn't, and don't, sell anything I wouldn't use myself.”
