Over the weekend, two Morris Lubricants Racing Ambassadors were in motorsport action, as Lydia Walmsley headed to Scotland for the Knockhill round of Mini Challenge UK, where as Luke Harris was at the ACU British Masters Championship at Frittenden.

There were three Morris Lubricants Racing Ambassadors in action of late, with three champions all in action. Ten-times British Champion Luke Harris headed to Winchester for the Grasstrack Banter Trophy Meeting, Scottish Ladies Rally Champion Ashleigh Morris was at the RSAC Scottish Rally and Wor Ladies Enduro Champion Chloe Anna Jones was at Hawkstone Park for the Fast Eddy Event.

The latest round of the British Truck Racing Championship took place at Thruxton Race Circuit over the weekend, with Morris Lubricants Racing Ambassadors Dave Jenkins, Craig Reid and Simon Reid all competing. With five races scheduled to take place, it was an opportunity for the trio to pick up as many points as possible, before the next round at Donington Park in August.

Newly re-signed Morris Lubricants Racing Ambassador Lydia Walmsley was in action at Oulton Park in the latest round of Mini Challenge UK, where she was looking to make big improvements and pick up valuable points in her second season in the John Cooper Works (JCW) Class.
Elsewhere, nine-times British Champion Luke Harris competed in the 500cc Open Solo Class at the Vintage Motorcycle Club meeting at Leamington Spa.

Two Morris Lubricants Racing Ambassadors returned to competition at the weekend as Ashleigh Morris returned for the first time in over a month at the Jim Clark Reivers Rally and Luke Harris was again competing in the 250cc class at Frittenden in Kent.

It was the latest round of the British Truck Racing Championship for three Morris Lubricants Racing Ambassadors as they headed to Pembrey Circuit for the second round of action. Dave Jenkins, Simon Reid and Craig Reid were all in action. As well as the truck racers, grasstrack star Luke Harris was back on his bike in Cornwall, looking to qualify for the British Masters in July.

Over the weekend, it was the return of the British Truck Racing Championship that took place at Brands Hatch, with a weekend of exhilarating racing taking place. Dave Jenkins was hoping to go one better than last season and win the title. In Division One, Dave has been joined by Craig Reid of Reid Trucksport, who coasted to the Division Two title last season. As well as Dave and Craig, they were also joined on the grid by another Morris Lubricants Racing Ambassador, as Simon Reid, Craig's brother, made his return to the sport after taking a break for a couple of years.
Moreover, nine-times British Champion, Luke Harris had a meeting as he was at the Tallington Twister in Peterborough, looking to improve on a frustrating first meeting two weeks ago.

The 2021 season marked another exciting chapter in the successful partnership between Morris Lubricants and racing ambassador Lydia Walmsley - who proves that hard work and talent pay off. Since becoming an ambassador for Morris Lubricants four years ago, Lydia has risen up the Mini Challenge Championship ranks and signed off her debut season racing in the John Cooper Works Class as part of BTC Racing with a top-10 finish. “To have similar lap times as drivers who have won races and been championship contenders is pretty special,” says Lydia. “I think it’s something we can all be proud of.”

Lydia Signs for 2021
In this season’s Mini Challenge Championship Lydia Walmsley has taken her place on the grid as a newcomer to the JCW Class. For the first time in her life as a racing driver – a career that began when she was seven years old – Lydia is competing as part of a BTCC-winning racing team, alongside a teammate. She will be climbing into the cockpit of a 2.0-litre turbocharged John Cooper Works Mini – a vehicle that is twice as powerful than the Mini Cooper she has previously raced – and have access to more sophisticated and comprehensive training and data sets.
