16TH AND 17TH APRIL - ROUND 1: BRANDS HATCH
Having finished in second place in a tense finale to the British Truck Racing Championship in 2021, Dave Jenkins was looking to hit the ground running in the 2022 season at Brands Hatch on the opening weekend. The MAN TGX 12000 driver took home two wins to open his account for the season, coupled with two fourth place finishes and one fifth place. He picked up 65 points to leave him second in the Championship table.

7TH AND 8TH MAY - ROUND 2: PEMBREY CIRCUIT
The trucks descended to the home of Welsh motorsport as they headed to Pembrey Circuit for the second round of the British Truck Racing Championship in May. Dave Jenkins was looking to take his form from the first round at Brands Hatch into this, the second round. It proved to be a frustrating one for Dave, as he was plagued with issues in his MAN TGX 12000 truck, which forced him into an uncharacteristic withdrawal from the fourth race of the weekend. In the other races, Dave finished sixth, fourth, fifth and seventh in races one, two, three and five, respectively. Dave added a further 42 points to his total for the year, leaving him in third place overall.

9TH AND 10TH JULY - ROUND 3: THRUXTON
With a big break between rounds two and three of the British Truck Racing Championship, the trucks headed to Thruxton for round 3 in July, following the previous round at Pembrey at the beginning of May. Dave Jenkins was in mixed form during the weekend as he had two podium finishes, highlighted with a race win in race three. Dave was plagued with suspension problems and was unfortunately unclassified in the fifth and final race of the weekend. Dave finished the weekend in fourth position in the overall drivers standings and will be looking to pick up valuable points as the season reaches the midway point in the next round at Donington Park.
