Morris Lubricants Racing Weekend Round-Up 16-17 October 2021

Luke Harris was invited to race as a guest for Leicester Lions Cubs as they took on Kent in the National Development League. It took Luke a little while to get into his stride, but improved as the evening went on, picking up 7 points for the Lions in the process.

Sami Bowler made a long-awaited return to racing in the final round of the 750 Motor Club Roadsports Series. Having not raced since 7th August, Sami headed to Snetterton and finished a very creditable 10th position overall, as well as finishing 4th position in her class.

Bathams Racing headed for Brands Hatch in the final round of the National Superstock 1000 Championship, which also marked the final race of Taylor Mackenzie's career before retirement. Taylor managed to finish in 5th position in the race, as he finished in 6th position overall in the championship.

Catherine Potter headed to Warden Law IKR in Sunderland to compete in Mini Max/Junior Rotax karting. Making improvements on her grid position in two of the three rounds, Catherine put in a solid performance across the whole weekend.

At the same circuit, younger brother Thomas Potter, took part in the Honda Cadet 160/200 series and made huge strides in the races, moving up 14, 11, 9 and 4 places from his qualifying places, as well as the fastest lap in the final.
